Saturday May 14 at the FHC

Reminder, the Family History Center is open this Saturday May 14 for normal business.  Volunteers will be available until 3:00PM.


The MoCoGenSo DNA SIG will meet at 10:00 am in the Library rooms in the FHC.

Schedule for DNA SIG Meeting:

10:00 to 10:15   Discussion of future topics of interest/volunteers for future presentations

10:15 to 10:30  Online demonstration by Barbara Rae-Venter of using GWorks on www.DNAgedcom.com in your Family History Research.

Bring your laptop with you.  So that you can follow along with your own data, please be sure that you are registered on DNAgedcom.com (free) and that you have your user name and password with you and that you have gedcom files uploaded to your account, either your own files, or those from downloading match information from FTDNA and/or AncestryDNA.

10:30 to 11:15  “Searching for George”  by Kathy Nielsen

Included in Kathy’s presentation is how she is using genetic genealogy tools we have discussed in previous SIG meetings in her research.
